Make Your Own Peep Pops

One of the things I shamelessly look forward to every Easter are those colorful, soft, adorable little Peeps.  You know the ones that only show up at Easter time in the shape of little chicks, made from marshmallows.....

Well, I thought it would be fun to make our very own, modified version of Peeps.  They're not in the shape of baby chicks or bunnies, just plain old marshmallows but SO much fun to make.

Here's what you need.....colored sugar, which can be found in the baking department of any grocery store, marshmallows, lollipop sticks and a bowl of water.

Roll the marshmallow in the water first.

Then roll the marshmallow in the colored sugar and stick a lollipop stick in the end and you're done.

You end up with these very colorful Peep Pops....

I'm not sure if Paige had more fun making them or eating one.....

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to leave a comment. I love to hear from you! Have a fantastic day!
