When I was contacted by Boot Barn to see if I wanted to try out their new line of boots, the Shyanne, I didn't hesitate. You all know how much I LOVE boots so when given the opportunity to acquire a new, stylin' pair, how could I say no?
But this is even better because YOU, one of my wonderful readers will have the chance to win your OWN pair! You'll get to choose from their Shyanne line. WOOHOO! I'm so excited to be able to offer this to you, courtesy Boot Barn.
But before posting this giveaway, I wanted to try these babies out in as many settings as possible to see how they feel, hold up and how I feel in them.
I wore them shooting on a Saturday evening.
But what I really prefer, is to wear my boots out. Wearing boots for me, feels like putting on a well worn, comfy glove. As the leather softens, the boot molds to your foot and there is almost nothing more comfortable.
So the maiden voyage for these black and turquoise kickers was to my niece's 6th grade promotion ceremony and party. They dress up a pair of skinny jeans just like that.
When I wore them into San Francisco to attend an event.....I received so many compliments on these boots. My favorite option when wearing boots is with a dress.
Paige has some major boot envy. I can see a mini-me boot purchase for her in the near future.
The thing I really enjoy with these boots is the style. They have a vintage, distressed look to them and the contrasting turquoise inlay really caught my eye when I was in the process of selecting a style for myself.

I love, love, LOVE these boots. They easily go from ranch life to playing in the big city to a lazy Sunday afternoon without a problem.

I like to wear boots everywhere, but most frequently to county fairs, country concerts, and anything involving dancing. There will be a lot of that coming up this summer. With a pair that could also work well to dress up, I'd pair them with a dress to go out on the town or to the summer farmer's market. Love a nice pair of good boots!
Boots are my "favorite tennis shoes." I wear them almost every time I leave the house! I would love to wear a pair of new Shyanne boots to the State Fair and rodeos this year as my other "good" pair of boots are showing more wear and tear due to spur of the moment training sessions with our first 4H-er and her calves :) I have forever been looking for the perfect boots to pair with jeans AND my favorite little white dress.
Oh The places I would wear them boots! I must admit, I too just like Paige, have some serious boot envy. Since I havent had a pair of cowgirl boots since I was 10 it will be hard to get them off my feet once I put them on! I would wear them to the grocery store, at the fair, to the feed store, to school to pick up the little one, I would wear them to the barn to show them off to all "The Girls". Careful of course as to where I step. Heck, I may wear them to bed the first few days! I just told my husband I really want a nice pair of boots to sport around. For now I'm stuck with my rubber Bogs. (sigh)
I Love these boots! Some girls have a shoe fetish, I have a boots fetish! Which is why I'll be wearing cowboy boots down the aisle this summer when I marry my very own cowboy ;) These boots would be perfect, an awesome way to incorporate my "something blue"! Love love love!

Funny. We were browsing internet sites looking at cowgirl boots at work today. I checked out the website and I like the embroidered boots. If I won I'd wear them everywhere! I'm with Luv Hahn--I might even wear them to bed.
Those boots were made for more then Walkn! I would wear them for riding my horse, "Fashion"....her name and me in those boots! A "Fashion" Statement to say the least! Giddy~up! I would pair them with jeans and a faded tee and get a lil sassy in a sweet Summer dress too :) I love Boot Barn!!!!

I love these boots. If I won a pair I would wear them to pick up my kids, run errands and of course to the county fairs and 4-H events.
I'd wear them to my favorite Mexican restaurant for the live music on the patio- and everywhere else I could...

I love my old, tan Ariats. So comfortable and they look great 5 years after their purchase! But... They don't have the wow factor of these boots. I would adore these and wear them everywhere... Office, dinner dates w/ my own cowboy, trade shows, cow shows and sales, shopping and who could forget planes, trains and automobiles!
I'd have to sport these boots for my 10 year HS reunion!

I would love, love, love this pair of boots! Black and turquoise ~ how can you go wrong. I would wear them with my skinnys, skirts, back to my alma mater (Cal Poly) and of course date night with my hubby and who knows where from there :)
These are gorgeous! The best things about a great pair of boots is I feel like I can wear them anywhere and anytime! I'd have to definitely wear these with a cute summer dress or out for the evening, and as my go-to outfit of jeans, boots and tank top :) everyday with the kids!
I'd start with work but they would probably replace my Ariat riding boots as my go to boots. Been needing a new pair of dress boots since my Bubba chewed the toe off one of them.
I would have already worn these to a couple different events! They would definitely be my go to pair for going out. Just like Paige, I have some serious boot envy too!!
