TT w/Linky: A Date at Sam's

A few weeks ago after Dominic and I attended the San Francisco Vintners Market, we stopped in at Sam's Cafe in Tiburon for an early dinner.  Dominic has lived in Marin his entire life, other than his college years, but he had never been to Tiburon before so I was happy to share a Sam's Cafe experience with him on a glorious autumn afternoon.

Sam's sits right on the bay and you can either eat out on the deck or indoors if you prefer to stay out of the sun.  It was at least 70 degrees and we were happy to enjoy the fresh air on their outside deck seating.

A little Ginger Beer was just the perfect refreshment for the afternoon.

The portions at Sam's are on the smaller side, perfect for a light dinner. I had the Crab Louie salad.

And Dominic had the fish and chips.

The Seagulls that live in the area are notorious for snagging fried food right off the table, so if you need to use the restroom, make sure someone guards the table.

We also found out they enjoy drinking from a glass.......

If you're ever in the area, Sam's Cafe is the place to be, especially for weekend brunch; people watching galore if you enjoy that sort of thing and the scenery is spectacular.

I'm thankful for this fabulous bay-side restaurant!
What's your favorite outdoor restaurant??

Link up with anything you’re thankful for! And if you’re not a blogger, just let us know in the comment section what you happen to be thankful for on this day.

The place seems amazing! And yay, for date night! We don't have a lot of outdoor restaurants around here.

What a great restaurant! We don't have many outdoor places here because it seems to get sooo cold in the winter (for the south) and blazing hot in the summer so most everywhere is indoors only.
