Barn Charmer

It's always been my desire to have a barn party and let me tell you, if I owned one like this I'd have every birthday party, end of school party, cocktail party or whatever party in it.

I pass this barn on the many times I head to my sister's house and I always stop to take in the charming scene.  I especially enjoy the scene past sunset when the globe lights happen to be on and the fire pit a flame.

I can visualize myself with a mason jar filled with a refreshing beverage, some good music playing and sitting near the bonfire for a relaxing evening.....

TT w/Linky: May Barn Charmer

P.E. Day happens once a year at our rural one-room schools.  Our school, of nine students, visits another rural one-room school just a few miles away to complete their Presidential Physical Fitness Testing.  I drove five of the kids over in the morning and am so glad I did......thankful for the view on the way there.

This barn, nestled among the trees has caught my eye every time I wind around this rural country route.....only twice a year, normally.

This 'Thankful Thursday' I'm thankful for the gorgeous scenery only miles away in just about every direction.

Link up with anything you’re thankful for! And if you’re not a blogger, just let us know in the comment section what you happen to be thankful for on this day.

Barn Charmer

Barns are almost my favorite thing to photograph....right behind sunsets and sunrises.
There is something so charming about barns, irresistible for me to drive by one without taking a photo of it.
Especially when they are set in a beautiful wine country setting, like this one.

The girls and I went barrel tasting a few weeks ago and as we were driving to our next destination, we happened on this beautiful barn with the late afternoon dim sunlight.  I immediately turned my vehicle around to snap this shot with my phone.

Wordless {almost} Wednesday:  Barn Charmer
