The start of summer is unofficially here. With the last day of school here and gone, summer is on our minds.
We kicked it off with a school pool party at Bryce's teacher's house.
Bryce was not happy about being required to wear his life vest, but spending four hours in a pool, one can get tired and so a life vest was a requirement.
Paige didn't mind wearing her life vest. Towards the end of the party, she finally felt safe enough to jump into the deep end of the pool for the first time ever!
Chloe was also invited to the pool party but didn't feel the need to swim....after exploring her new surroundings and playing with resident pooch, Cooper, she decided to bask in the sunshine upon a John Deere tractor beach towel........always the 'ranch dog'.

@Sarah, we did have ice cream....a new flavor I have never had until that day....Lemon cookie which tasted like the Girl Scouts lemon cookies to me. I could have eaten the entire carton! Thanks for voting!

Oh how we love our summers! We kicked it off this year with our summer reading program, but it is usually kicked off by our county fair since it is sooo early!
