Cruisin' the Cattle~Chloe's Story

Chloe, the wanna-be cattle dog.....well, in her world she IS the biggest, smartest, quickest cattle dog around.

After all, when she barks, the cows listen and sometimes even back away, just to humor her, I'm sure.

So when I gather up my ranch boots, Chloe is the first in line to jump in the truck.  She knows we're headed for adventure and she doesn't want to miss out.

She likes to sit in the back seat of the truck, on either Bryce or Paige's lap and hang as far out the window as she possibly can.....searching.

Until a few beef cows come into her line of sight and then she goes nuts, barking, jumping and SO excited.

Nine pound, ferocious Chloe, with the new haircut, doesn't even phase the cows.....but in her mind, she was keeping them in check and back away from her truck.

Good job Chloe.

  1. Sweet Chloe. We don't need to tell her that she's not a cattle dog and hurt her feelings. She's a determined little thing! Enjoy your weekend.

  2. My sister had an airedale named Sophie for 10 years. If you even said the word, Cow, she went nuts!

  3. Your girl Chloe looks like Charlie now that he's been groomed (see this evenings post). Amazing! They are both 'big dogs in little dog suits!' (Except Charlie weighs about 50 pounds)
