Grossi Family Reunion

Family reunions are a fun time.  Especially when you luck out with fabulous weather.  The Grossi family reunion took place at Stafford Lake on Saturday.  Stafford Lake, before it was a lake, was where the Grossi family dairy business all began so many years ago.  Actually, where Dominic's Grandpa and Grandma's dairy began.  The original dairy was right next door..... the home ranch.

Dominic's grandparents Mary and George Sr. are the last in their generation in this family of over 300. George was born the youngest of 10 kids in 1920 to Dominico and Tersea Grossi. Here they are viewing a slide show on my mother-in-law, Annette's laptop of family history photos from the early 1900's to the present time.

Dominic cooked up 40 or more tri tips to feed the crowd of over 200 who were able to attend.

Everyone family who attended brought a dish to share.  Food was definitely plentiful.

Leila, Paige and Bryce coloring for a little bit.

I think everyone enjoyed the food....

Like any good party, there's usually a great after party.  This of course was un-planned but since we live right across the street from Stafford AND we still have the jumpy from Paige's b-day party we had anyone who wanted to, come over after the reunion.  We just didn't want the party to end I guess!

And it didn't.

Until much later.  As you can see by the look on Paige's face, she was ready for bed.

Fun times....

Happy Monday!
