MUG Monday: Baked Oatmeal

I am loving these Mug recipes.  Today after boot camp class I was famished!  Many calories burned today so I needed something that was going to stick with me for a few hours.  This 'baked' oatmeal has an egg included in it for a little more protein.





















I chopped up some Granny Smith apple and grabbed a few dried cranberries to throw into my mug but you can use whatever your favorite oatmeal ingredients are.....such as walnuts or raisins.


















Mix quick oats, one egg, milk, cinnamon, apple, cranberries, brown sugar and honey together in a mug.


















Stir it all together and microwave for 2-3 minutes.  Mine took 2 1/2 minutes.


















A super quick, easy and healthy breakfast in minutes.

Mug Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients:
1/2 cup quick oats
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 apple, chopped
1 T dried cranberries
1 tsp honey
1 T brown sugar

Directions:
Mix the quick oats, milk and egg together in a mug.  Add the apple, cranberries, cinnamon, brown sugar and honey, stir until blended.  Microwave for 2-3 minutes.  Mine took 2 1/2 minutes.
